“The United States is barreling toward full-scale war with Iran. Trump’s decision to join Israel’s war against Iran by striking Iranian nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan risks derailing any chance at a diplomatic resolution to Iran’s nuclear program and initiating region-wide war—with the United States leading the charge. Pressure on Trump for further strikes are likely to increase as a result of Iranian retaliation and efforts by hawks in Washington and Israel to push the president toward embracing regime-change in Tehran. Further escalation should be avoided at all costs.” (06/23/25)
