“It seems there are easily a hundred thousand Bitcoin (or crypto) millionaires, with more reaching that level as the numbers rise. A million dollars isn’t actually that much money anymore, but it makes a nice marker all the same. Bitcoiners, then, are becoming people of means. Some more, some less of course, but if you think back on your expectations as you started this journey, you may have to concede that you’re at least somewhat well-off. … having means gives us new choices to make. So, do we want to live in our garret apartments forever, or do we want to live full lives and improve the world while we’re at it? What’s the purpose of this whole thing anyway? As it happens, we are positioned to be of more help to our friends and neighbors than hiding out and being right.” (06/11/25)
