“Jackson police arrested a 40-year-old homeowner after they say he shot and injured a man in his home who was not supposed to be there. … Police tell 6 News they believe the man is a 47-year-old homeless person who had earlier broken into the home through a basement window. Police say the injured man told them he thought the home was vacant and was confronted by the homeowner as he was walking up the stairs from the basement. … 6 News has confirmed the homeowner has since been released from custody.” (04/07/25)
