“A homeowner shot a man who was attempting to forcefully break into his home in Fairfax Virginia on Wednesday, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. … officers said they found the man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, officials said. The residents inside the home were not harmed, officials said. A preliminary police investigation revealed that the alleged intruder also assaulted another person at a nearby home before the break-in occurred, officials said.” (01/15/25)
