“The California state legislature unanimously passed Assembly Bill 1013 and Gov. Gavin Newsom signed it into law last year. It requires bars that serve only alcoholic drinks and no food to provide drug testing kits and post signs saying the drink testing kits are available. … The California Department of Alcohol Beverage Control said the law will impact about 2,400 bars across the state.” (07/01/24)
