CO: Denver regime sues to ban gang intimidation activities at voting sites

Source: The Hill

“The city of Denver filed a lawsuit Thursday to block Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers from going to voting sites. The lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Secretary Markwayne Mullin argues that ordering federal officers to carry out detainments and serve warrants violated the ‘troops at polls’ law. The troops at polls law, established by Congress during the Civil War, imposed fines and potential jail time for federal officers who show up to ‘any place where a general or special election is held, unless such force be necessary to repel armed enemies of the United States.'” (09/10/26)
