“A federal judge on Tuesday tossed out a lawsuit from six GOP lawmakers in Pennsylvania seeking to block overseas voting. Republicans in other battleground states like North Carolina and Michigan have filed similar suits challenging the validity of ballots cast abroad as part of a larger GOP effort to sow doubt about election results in case former President Trump loses. U.S. District Judge Christopher Conner dismissed the suit, saying in a memorandum he agrees with the defendants that the lawsuit was brought too late, lacked standing and had no cause of action.” (10/29/24)
