“A crowd of more than 400 gathered at Seattle’s waterfront Saturday to mark a full year since the start of the war in Gaza, calling for a cease-fire and an end to U.S. aid to Israel. … Ahmad Hamdan, an organizer and member of the Palestinian Youth Movement, said those in attendance want an immediate and permanent cease-fire, as well as an end to the U.S. sending weapons to Israel.” (10/05/24)
