But that can’t happen when moderators upset the apple cart by dispensing with the idea … that Trump’s overwhelmingly higher falsehood count shouldn’t correspondingly attract a higher measure of journalistic scrutiny. … withholding preferential treatment for Trump represents an existential challenge to his candidacy.
