Quick Note from the Path of Tropical Storm Elsa

Hey, everyone …

I’m writing this about 10:30pm EDT on Tuesday. Tropical Storm Elsa is supposed to be impacting my area by the time the freedom movement’s daily newspaper usually goes out, so I’m working as far ahead as I can. I’ve got stories scheduled through “press time” (8am), and will schedule the RRND email ahead of time as well (FND and the social media editions have to be put out manually — if the power is on in the morning, they will be; if not, oh, well).

If I still have electricity and Internet in the morning I’ll check for last-minute news developments. If not, what’s there is what you get. And if the power goes out and stays out for days, we’ll be “web-only” (at https://news.rationalreview.com/), lighter on content, and probably without email notifications. That’s a possibility, but I expect we’ll be back by Monday at the latest under almost any foreseeable circumstances. I apologize in advance for any interruptions.

Thanks to all of you who continue to support our work — and if you’ve been thinking about doing so, here’s the handy link:

Hopefully there won’t be any interruptions and I’ll “see” you tomorrow. If not, then ASAP. Either way, have a great rest of the week!

Yours in liberty,
Tom Knapp
