“This is my fourth midterm paper for a course I took on International Human Rights. In an earlier paper I related how Payam Akhavan was inspired to become a human rights lawyer fighting against tyranny because of the persecution of people of the Bahai’i faith in Iran, including friends and family. He discusses his experiences in Kosovo and Rwanda. But in his last two chapters he is very critical of western society.” (05/08/22)
