“The Trump administration’s decision to first host direct talks with Russia in February has left Ukraine and its European backers wondering how long they will be left on the sidelines. Brussels, particularly, is trying to put on a unified front to promote its interests in Ukraine’s future. But a flurry of statements and summits over the last few weeks shows that the EU, and Europe more generally, may be less ‘unified’ on the subject than they had initially hoped to convey.” (03/11/25)
