“Construction workers at a Long Island apartment complex dug up a bone-chilling discovery: human skeletal remains. The grim find Monday in Woodbury’s Eagle Rock Apartments is under investigation by Nassau County police, cops said. The complex’s management told News 12 that the remains were ‘clearly over 100 years old’, but a representative contacted by The Post would not confirm that earlier statement. Police dig through the ground. A representative for Eagle Rock Apartments couldn’t confirm if the bones were 100 years old. A medical examiner will investigate the bones, police said. Construction workers found human remains in 92 Fairhaven Boulevard, police said. ‘No comment,’ the representative said. Cops learned about the remains through a 911 call about 4 p.m., detectives said. They responded to a construction site at 92 Fairhaven Blvd. and saw skeletal remains while they dug in the ground, cops said.” (06/11/24)
