FL: Judge rules that government day-prisons can impose religious garb requirements

Source: Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

“Florida school districts can legally require their students to wear masks to [appease whatever gods or demons they believe are responsible for] the spread of covid-19, a judge ruled Friday, saying Gov. Ron DeSantis overstepped his authority when he issued an executive order banning such mandates. Leon County Circuit Judge John Cooper agreed with a group of parents who claimed in a lawsuit that DeSantis'[s] order [forbidding them to impose their religion on everyone else] is unconstitutional and cannot be enforced. The governor’s order gave [sic] parents the sole right to decide if their children wear masks at school.” (08/28/21)
