“There is no industry on the planet that loves itself more than Hollywood, but a close second is journalism. It’s fitting since both industries are riddled with some of the worst human beings to ever consume oxygen. But while Hollywood loves itself more, journalism is more damaging to the country. Sure, cultural rot is destructive, but an honest media would report on it and prevent a considerable amount of it. We do not have an honest media. How bad is the media today? It doesn’t take much to see how bad things have gotten when NBC News employs racists like Joy Reid and gives $30 million per year to a crackpot conspiracy theorist like Rachel Maddow.
