“This report has been prepared as a submission to The Cobden Centre, a UK thinktank. The report reviews factors related to the hypothesis that there is a causal relationship between the timing of Layer 2 and 3 Bitcoin technology innovations and the sudden acceleration in the growth of UK merchants accepting Bitcoin and the Bitcoin social network.
